Den här tavlan blev klar alldeles före jul. Jag fick en beskrivning av vad beställaren ville den skulle berätta. Den handlar om okuvlig kraft, en kraft att alltid resa sig trots motgångar. I finished this mixed media painting just before christmas. The lady who ordered it wanted it to picture the power of life, to always be able to rise despite misfortunes.
Det finns alltid ett litet frö som gror och växer upp trots att man blivit nedbruten. Kort och gott: Livskraft !The power of the little seed that always finds a way to grow nomatter the cirumstances. In other words: The power of Life!

Wow Liisa, that is a really good piece of work, it feels powerful, and for me it has both dark and light aspects, rebirth and death wrapped up beautifully within your work.

With the holidays, I haven't been blog visiting for awhile...but I have to tell you how much I love this painting...your work is outstanding and I hope you find time in the coming weeks and months to persue your craft. I too love how the painting continues to the sides...no framing needed..the work speaks for itself.
