SunRay växte upp i de vilda bergen i "Pacific Northwest" och han verkade alltid vara ifärd med att bygga något. Hans favorit inspirationskälla är naturen och skogen runt omkring,"Guds byggvarubutik" som han kallar det. När han jobbar på ett projekt är det inte ovanligt att se honom lomma iväg till skogs med sågen i hand letandes efter det rätta trästycket. Om han säger nånting...så mumlar han..."Jag går och shoppar"

Growing up in the wild hills of the Pacific Northwest, it seems like SunRay was always building something. His favorite source of inspiration and materials is the woods around him, "God's Hardware Store" as he calls it. When working on a project it is not uncommon to see him pick up a saw and head off into the woods looking for the right piece of wood to present itself. If he says anything, he'll mumble "I'm going shopping."

Själfullt helgbesök i Nettan och Nalles  nyförvärvade "lilla" stuga i Furudal...

överallt andas historien...

everywhere you can sense history...

Nettans säkra kreativa hand kommer att få stället att blomstra!...

Nettan has a creative eye and will have this place turned into full blossom!...

  

I den stora salen dukas det upp för fest!...

In the big room the table is set for a feast!...

  

I goda vänners lag, god mat och musik ...själen får tanka!...

In the arms of wonderful friends, good food and music...gives your soul energy!...

en och annan god choklad bit är ju inte fel heller!...

one or two bites of some nice chocolate isn't to bad either!...

I brasans sken, musiken fyller rummet, (det är sååå roligt att spela med Nalle!) ...tiden liksom stannar....sova? ...måste man det?...framåt småtimmarna känns det i och för sig inte fel heller!...

In the light of the fire, the music fills the room (it's so fun to play with Nalle!) ...time stands still...sleep?...do you have to?...in the wee hours that's not too bad either!...

Morgonsolen strilar in...ljuvigt med frukost!...

Morning sun...lovely with breakfast!...

Vi kikar in i Stensalen som kommer att förvandlas till sommarens konstgalleri...sagolikt!...

We take a look into the "Stone hall" that will turn into an Art gallery in a few weeks...like from a fairytale!...

Gammal industrihistoria finns här och där...

Old industrial history...something for you Steampunkers!...

The attic...sigh...is a completely different story!...wow!

Omgivningarna är så vackra! Så ta dig en tur i sommar till  "Galleri Stensalen och sånt"  i Furudal! Sevärt !

med ett miljötänkande utöver det vanliga....

with an more than ordinary environmental friendly thinking ...

Beautiful upcykling...

Tänk om alla nya hus kunde byggas med exeptionellt miljötänk...

Think if all new houses could be built with an exceptional environmental thinking...

Lagar ändras så sakteliga....mot mer energi effiktivtet...i Sverige i alla fall...

The laws are slowly changing towards more energyefficiency..in Sweden anyway...

men det går långsamt....

but it moves to slow...

alldeles för långsamt!...

way too slow!...

om alla länder började återanvända material till byggen...

if all countries would use recycled material for buildings...

Skulle vi alla få ett bättre, billigaare boende...

we would all get better, more affordable homes...

men då skulle ju inte byggindustrin och aktieägarna i alla stora byggvarukedjor få så mycket vinst...

But then the building industry and their owners and shareholders wouldn't get that much profit...

så synd...

too bad...

men man kan ju hoppas på förändringar...

but one can always hope for changes....

se bara vad man kan göra med återbrukat glas!...

just look at what one can accomplish with recycled bottles...
