800 besökare !! / 800 visitors !!

Här ligger man och gosar sig i solen...nervositeten och spänningen är borta...tröttheten har slagit till! Vilken helg det blev! Konst i kvadrat och speciell vårt ställe "Galleri Storsten" har nog slagit rekord både med besökare och kvalitetsmässigt! ....

What a lovely place to lie down and relax in the sun...all nervousity and excitement is gone...fatigue is the right word now I think. What a weekend it was! "Art in a square" and perticulary our place "Gallery Storsten" hit the records both with visitors and level of quality or the artworks!...

Va sa du??...800 BESÖKARE??? Är det sant??...Jo nåt i den stilen blev det för Storstens del! Helt otroligt! ....800 besökare och INGA av dom fastnade på mina bilder!!! Haha...men den enda möjligheten för mig att få bilder denna helg var INNAN vi öppnade. Sen fanns det inte en chans! Det bara vällde in folk! Jag har inga siffror än på det totala antalet besökare men det verkar ju ha gått fantastiskt bra för alla...

WHAT?? ....800 VISITORS??? Is that true??...Yes something like that for our place! Simply amazing! ...800 visitors and NONE of them got stuck on my photos!!! Haha...but the only chance for me to get some pictures this weekend was BEFORE we opened. After that I didn´t have a minute over, there were crowds of people rolling in all day! I don´t have the numbers on the other locations yet but it seems to have been a succes for all I believe...

Så vi backar bandet och tar det från början! Det här blir ett lååångt inlägg...OK...TÄNK mycket folk nu!...Kom så går vi in till Nettan och Nalle som så generöst upplåtit sitt hem under dessa dagar!...

Then You can try to imagine all the wonderfull scents from the fires outside and the super-delicious lentil soup served with bread baked with feta cheese and olives...mmm

Nettan jobbar mycket med textil men målar också färgstarka tavlor i akryl...

Nettan works a lot with textiles but she can paint also, just look at these colourful acrylic paintings...

Nere vid sjön fanns mera skulpturer med bl.a lustiga fåglar att se av Claus Moltke-Hoff, tyvärr hann jag inte ner för att fota !...

Down by the lake there were more sculptures to see, by Claus Moltke-Hoff, unfortunately I didn´t get the chans to go there and take photos!...

Och sist men inte minst... Min sons skulpturer!! Han är bara 5 år men inspirerad av pappa! OK han har inte fått svetsa själv än!...

And last but not least...My sons sculptures!! He´s only 5 years old but veery inspired by Dad! OK he has not welded himself yet!...

Welcome to "Konst i Kvadrat" (Art in a square) the 10 th - 11th october and my little share of the whole thing: At the Gallery "Storsten" in the little village Ornäs You will find me and my little exhibition "FACE IT!" A "facefull" exhibition!

Ibland som väsen ur en saga...

Sometimes like creatures from a fairytale...

Vem bestämmer över vilka liv som skall levas?...

Who decides over life ?...

Flickan går i skogen omgiven av ljus...det liksom strålar om henne!...

The girl walkes through the forrest surrounded by light...she´s radiant!

Livet är en massa beslut...hit eller dit...stanna eller gå...

En gammal hymn från 1300-talet "Ave Verum" vackert tonsatt av Mozart inspirerade mig till denna tavla...

Förutom mina tavlor ,som jag lustfyllt målat efter att ha utbildat mig lite i nya tekniker, visar jag även mina Artdolls (tyg och lera dockor) och mina konstfotografier. Jag hoppas hinna posta fler bilder om utställningen!

Apart from my paintings, that I have deliciously painted after taking classes in new techniques, I´m also showing my Artdolls and Art photos . I hope that I will have time to post more photos from the exhibition!

Syfest / Sew Lovely

Höstfärger i trädgården inspirerar. Mera inspiration har jag hämtat från Dala syfestival. Jag tog med min mor och vi "firade" hennes födelsedag med att dreggla över tyger och garner! Grattis Mamma! ...

The colours of autumn inspires me. More inspiration came from visiting the Dalecarlia sewing fair. I went there with my mother and we "celebrated" her birthday there drewling over fabrics and yarns! Congrats Mom! ...

First ramlade vi på Textilåterbrukets monter. Lika mysigt som vanligt...

At first we stumbled upon "Textilåterbruket" (= The reuse of Fabric). Her booth was as sweet as usual...

Jag tror jag har kommit till himmelen! Nya vackra Tildasaker och tyger har kommit! Jag tror jag konverterar till Tildaism och börjar tillbe denna fantastiskt duktiga designtös Tone Finnanger! Hon har gjort det igen!!...

I think I´m in heaven! New beautiful and gorgeous Tilda stuff and fabrics have arrived! I think I´m going to convert to Tildaism and start worshipping this tremendous design-girl Tone Finnanger! She did it again!!...


Äntligen finns hon på en websida också!! HÄR!! ...

Finally she has got a website of her own!! HERE!! ...

Det är så vacker så man kan gråta...

It´s so beautiful that it makes me weep...almost...

Fullt av mysiga ideer...sådana där som man skall göra när man får tid!...när det nu blir??...

Full of sweet ideas...those things that one will do when one gets the time to do it...whenever that is??...

Men det spelar ingen roll att jag kommer att vara 65 när jag har tid till allt detta pyssel!...Hon ger mig en sån kick!!....

But it doesn´t matter that I´ll be 65 before I get the time to do all these things!...She inspires me like a vitamin shock!!..

Jag köper vackra papper och tyger, lägger dem bredvid mig och tittar på allt det vackra med dimmiga ögon....sen målar jag en tavla med helt andra färger och motiv...som blir sååå bra! Fattar du? Jag gör det inte....

I buy awsome fabrics and beautful cardstock, lay them beside me and I look at all the beautiness with foggy eyes...then I go along and paint...a painting with completely different colours and motif...and it ends up so good! Can You understand why? I don´t....

Kanske Tilda är min musa?....

I alla fall köpte jag detta lilla julhäfte med sååå söta och vackra tomtar och julänglar och hjärtan och snögubbar och....

Anyway I bought this new booklet with such sweet elves and christmas angels and hearts and snowmen and...

Kräftor och Konst! /Crayfish and Art!

Oj vad tiden går! Hösten springer förbi, men ett par kräftor i glada vänners lag har vi i alla fall hunnit med....

Oh how time flies! The autumn is here and we have managed to eat some crayfish amongst good friends...

Det blev nog kinesiska i år...det verkar inte finnas så väldigt mycket inhemska kräftor...

The crayfish came from China this year...we seem to have run out of our own domestic ones...

Men en tradition värd att behålla tycker jag... (bilden är från Kannustalo)...

It´s a well routed swedish tradition, a strange one I belive for those not living in scandinavia. Or do You eat crayfish in the autumn? It´s not just the crayfish though...it´s all the things that go with it like schnaps of course or some good wine, cheesepie, sallad and bread....and a lot of silly songs to be sung at the table....(the picture is from Kannustalo)...

Vi sjöng och spelade efter maten i stället ...under uppsikt av måsen Kurt eller vad han/hon nu heter!....

We saved the singing and playing till after the dinner...under supervision of "Kurt the seagull" or whatever he´s called!...

Och natten blev sen...

Until the night turned into morning....

Så efter det känner man sig nöjd med att bara sitta och måla!...Denna lilla tavla blev klar till Konst i kvadrat...

So after such a party it feel just good to sit at home and paint!...This little painting is ready for the exhibition "Konst i Kvadrat" (means Art in a square!)...

Det börjar närma sig! Välkomna den 10-11 oktober till Konst i kvadrat i Falun /Borlänge... Vi ses där!
