Tack! / Thank You!

Tackar o bockar för alla trevliga besök här hos mig! Jag tackar på detta viset eftersom jag inte hunnit besöka alla eller svarat på alla kommentarer... jag har varit jobbat och jobbat med min "potager" och alla plantor...burit på 25 kg tunga betongplattor...puh! Vilket gym man har här hemma alldeles gratis! Jag måste ha gått ner ett kilo eller två!!

Thank You for all Your warming comments! I have to thank everybody this way since I haven´t had the time to visit You back or reply to all the comments. What a great party! I haven´t got through all the participants on the list but I will do so when I get the chance! I have been working and digging and planting and carrying around 25 kilo heavy stones...gosh!...What a gym I have here at home ...for free! I must have lost a pound or two!!

Lite bad har vi också hunnit med i denna otroliga värme!

Veranda party! / Front porch party!

Rhondi på rosecolored glasses har bjudit in till veranda party den 5:e juni. Man skall posta en bild av sin "front porch" alltså motsvarande förstukvist i Sverige eller posta en bild på önskeverandan. Vår förstukvist är i desperat behov av renovering och skall egentligen glasas in...när vi får tid....eller ork...och pengar! Men här är den i allafall.

Rhondi at Rosecolored glasses invites to a front porch party on june the 5´th. Your supposed to post a picture of your front porch or of a "dreamporch". Porches, like in the USA, are not very common in Sweden. This is the front of our house with a "porch" in desperate need of renovation. It will be replaced with a glass porch....when we get the time....or the strength...and the money! But anyway here it is.

Ett år äldre! / One year older!

Jag kan inte fatta att jag blir 45 idag!!! Hur har det gått till?? Jag menar jag är väl inte en dag äldre än 35?...eller?

Forty bleedin´ five years old today!!! How on earth did that happen?? I mean I´m not a day older than 35?...or?

Mamma mia! Det är mycket nu med födelsedag idag, skolavslutningar i morgon, nationaldag till helgen...Jag menar kunde dom inte klämma in lite mer när de ändå höll på??

Mamma mia! It´s a lot going on these days with my birthday today, breaking up day at school tomorrow, Swedens national day coming up the 6´th....I mean why didn´t they squeeze in some more things while they where at it??

Ok nånstans mitt i allt detta skrivs det på sista kapitlet till min saga "Själarnas trädgård" . Det är ett känslomässigt drygt kapitel men det skall nog bli bra...hoppas jag!

Ok somewhere in the midst of all this I´m writing on the last chapter on my story " Garden of lost souls". It´s an emotionally draining chapter but I think it will be OK...I hope!

Våren är verkligen hänryckningens tid...Kan man annat när man ser och känner allt vackert i naturen?

Mors Dag / Mothers Day

Mor lilla mor, vem är väl som du?...Ingen i hela världen!

Mother o mother, there is no one like You...nowhere in the whole world!

Min morsdagsbukett som jag fick på morgonen. Min älsklingsblomma är liljekonvalj. Den doftar så ljuvligt!

This is my mothers day boquet that i got this morning. My favorite flower is lilly of the valley. It smells heavenly!

Det här är min mor Leila, när hon var 17 år gammal och nyss hade träffat min far. Jag tycker att hon är vacker som en filmstjärna!...Det är hon fortfarande vid 68 års ålder.

My mother, Leila, when she was 17 and just had met my father. I think she looks like a beautiful moviestar!...She still does at the age of 68!

Min mor som 2-åring med min mormor Anna och morfar Herman som låg vid fronten på Karelska näset då detta foto är taget 1942. Min mor såg då sin far för första gången.

My mother at the age of two with my grandmother and grandfather. My mother met her father for the first time. He was at the front in Finland when this picture was taken in 1942.

Dagen firade vi med fika och rundvandring på Bäsna trädgård. Det är så fantastiskt vackert där. Jag vill alltid köpa allting! Njut av bilderna:
